Everyone is talking about the high price of gas. Senator Clinton has even purposed suspending
the gas tax to give consumers a break over the summer when consumption's are at it's peak."With oil nearing $100 barrel and gas prices over $3 per gallon, Americans are feeling the pain of seven years of a failed Bush-Cheney energy policy." Have you also noticed Americans are finally turning to smaller more fuel efficient cars like the European's, who have been driving them since 1994. American tourists are no longer makin fun of European Smart cars and are even lining up to buy them here in the U.S. Our gas prices have always paled in comparison to the costly price of fuel in Europe. Wouldn't you like to see all of our public transportationbeing utalized? So maybe these gas prices are not too high for the price of polluting the enviornment.

That is really interesting and I totally agree with high gas prices
I agree that the higher the gas prices the better, but what do you think about all of the people who cannot afford to buy a more efficient car, and cannot afford the extremely high price of gas that we are being charged for? The biggest crude oil company made over 39 billions dollars last year, partly because they are able to charge so much for gas, and with that money, they are able to drill for more crude oil, what are your thoughts on that?
If you have to have more efficient cars would they be affordable to everyone? Also, will they be using gas or will they be hybrid or cars that use different types of fuels? And is there any way for gas prices to go down?
But good Blog
I agree with you it is a good idea to get more fuel efficiant cars, and there are many fuel efficiant cars out there that cost lest than a prius... The echo gets 40mpg highway and this is not even a hybrid. The one problem i see is for people who already have cars they may not want to switch and sell their old one...
Interesting propositions for solutions, but you have to consider the socio-economic boundaries in our modern day society to a greater extent. What are some other solutions that would work for everyone?
